New GSN Station To Be Installed in Uzbekistan
In the coming months, the new permanent seismic station, JZAX, will be installed in Jizzakh, Uzbekistan. This station will be part of the prestigious Global Seismographic Network (GSN) which provides essential data for earthquake monitoring, scientific research, and education. It is supported by the U.S. Geological Survey and the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF).
