EPIC’s current inventory of multi-channel dataloggers, which now serves as our primary system for active source surveys using geophones, is centered around the ES-3000 Geode and a 60 Channel Strata View NZXP. The ES-3000 offers reliable performance, portability, and compatibility with EPIC’s existing multi-channel cable systems, originally designed for earlier Geometrics models.
These upgrades are also compatible with all of EPIC's Multi-Channel Cable System, which were originally purchased for use with the Geometrics StrataVisor NX. These Units employ a new concept in portable exploration seismographs. They combine the ruggedness and high signal quality of a distributed system with the convenience and cost effectiveness of personal computer-based control devices.
While the 64-channel StrataVisor remains part of our inventory, it is now reserved for specific use cases where its capabilities are needed. Both systems support high-quality data acquisition for seismic field campaigns and are optimized for active source deployments. See Geode Datalogger page for more information.
