Hi there- I'm trying to install the latest release of Passoft on my El Cap Mac, and the installer fails early on throwing the attached error message. FYI I've got plenty of free disk space, have run both MacPorts and Homebrew at various times in the past on this machine, and I have some other stuff living in /opt/ already (like Earthworm) in case that matters. Thanks for your time!

I install PQLII on several OS (Win,Ubuntu,Fedora) and always get an error when i apply filter on a trace. I follow the installation instruction as described at the webpage.

We need to convert .mseed files downloaded using breqfast to per channel per day files for input to SHM. We followed our standard process, but sdrsplit -D on Ubuntu leads to decompression 3 errors when reading miniseed day files Other day files prepared from Macs are fine. And, we can convert the mseed day files to SAC, although sample sizes are slightly less than expected at 200 Hz

ref2sac incorrectly converts Ref Tek RT 130 data files to SAC. I found and fixed a number of bugs in the Mac OS X PASSOFT release of ref2sac. I added LAT, LON, and ELEV to the SAC files. I set the dependent variable type in the SAC file to UNKNOWN, since the data are in counts, not engineering units. I added an option to create the SAC output files in a single, flat directory structure, with unique file names. Those names include an .R. to identify that they contain raw counts. \nAttached are my patched files and a README of the changes, plus several sample data files. (The sample data files should not be redistributed without permission.) The sample data files were converted to SAC using the following commands: \n$ ref2sac --verbose --inDir DElValleDam_crest --outDir ref2sacData >DElValleDam_crest/ref2sac.out $ ref2sac --verbose --inDir ElkGroveRT130 --outDir ref2sacData >ElkGroveRT130/ref2sac.out $ ref2sac --verbose --inDir HoltSchool_FF --outDir ref2sacData >HoltSchool_FF/ref2sac.out \nMaybe no one has worked on ref2sac in a while. I noticed there was no ref2sac binary in the Mac OS X PASSOFT distribution, and the ref2sac directory is not included in the src/Makefile. \nNOTE: all the uploaded files have a .txt appended to their names. I am working on a MAC computer running OSX 10.8
