Compile C-Files on Windows
Submitted by dthomas on Tue, 2012-09-25 10:55
Your Question:
I downloaded the PASSCAL folder from your software website onto my MAC. I then have been trying to compile 'ref2segy.c' and 'segy2asc.c' files using Microsoft Visual Studio C++ 6.0 on my PC. When I go to compile each, I get an error telling me that certain files cannot be found. These files include-
sys/types.h
sys/applieapiopts.h
sys/cdefs.h
sys/ioctl.h
suds.h
segy.h
The first 5 are for 'ref2segy.c' and the last 1 is for 'segy.h'. Any advice would be great.
Regards.

Hello CO.
We're not able to actively support compiling the software in non-Unix environments like Windows.
Your best bet might be to use tools which provide a Linux look and feel environment for Windows, such as Cygwin.
Let us know how it goes.
Good luck, and all best,
